Jud has extensive experience in conducting policy analyses. His skill derives from a combination of educational experience, master's degrees in public policy and in epidemiology, policy analysis training at the U.S. General Accounting Office, and extensive work in health policy circles in Washington, DC. Jud has initiated and/or conducted studies to:
> Compare the effectiveness of national obesity prevention policies,
> Assist the Congressional Budget Office in estimating the cost of health care legislation,
> Compare the cost-effectiveness and health impact of evidence-based clinical preventive services,
> Assess the impact of proposed federal regulations affecting access to health care and access to certain types of medications,
> Assess the impact of worksite wellness policies, and
> Develop recommendations to Congress to improve federal foster care policies.
